Transformation Required
Ann-Marie was catching up her friend Sue in Blackwood, who also happens to be a past client of ours. She loved Sue’s new kitchen and wanted to know who completed the project for her.
Shortly after, we received a call from Ann-Marie asking if we could transform her kitchen too – and what a delight it was to complete for her! She also had a small, dark and pokey space, so in a similar way to Sue’s kitchen, we needed to carefully plan out each cabinet to ensure it was highly functional according to their needs.
Ann-Marie’s young adult son loved being involved in the initial colour selection and design discussions – he is an avid cook so he wanted to ensure everything was going to be just right in order to ‘cook up a storm’ in the new kitchen!
We enjoyed assisting Ann-Marie with finding the right appliances to suit her family’s needs and budget, we enjoy providing a total project management service to ensure the renovation runs as smoothly as possible. The transformation has made this previously dark, compact space feel much more spacious while also greatly improving functionality = another Transform-A-Space transformation done right!

Chosen Materials
The transformation was achieved using Polytec ‘Blossom White’ melamine cabinetry, with feature back panels, shelf and fridge overhead in ‘Notaio Walnut’ WoodMatt finish. Laminate benchtops in ‘White Cement’ from Polytec’s new Matera range, while Kethy graphite handles on the base cabinetry complimented the grey grout on the gloss white subway splashback tiles.
Blum Intivo soft closing hardware was used throughout, and a SIGE pull out rotating pantry to provide wonderful storage functionality in a small space. Ann-Marie decided to finish off the space by getting it freshly painted, and new floor tiles which complimented the kitchen styling. It is now a very inviting space to spend time in!
