Transformation Required
While the solid-built traditional timber kitchen in Tim & Dionne’s beautiful farm house had served them well over 20+ years, the family of 5 were looking to open up and modernise their kitchen space to better cater for their needs. They initially engaged SA interior designer Fabrikate who developed the vision for this large family kitchen. We were honoured to be given the opportunity to bring this stunning design to life!
It was a unique and challenging project, especially with the integration of the latest technology, including electronic ‘Space Corner’ drawers which is the prefect solution for maximising functionality in those otherwise frustrating corners cupboards. This stunning kitchen has become a multi-function dining and food preparation space, and has a wonderful flow of space when entertaining a crowd … which Tim & Dionne do regularly and with excellence!
Joel’s quality workmanship and attention to detail is very much evident to anyone who visits this beautiful home, and we know the kitchen will stand the test of time for next 20+ years! We’re excited to share the end result with you.

Chosen Materials
The solution was achieved using 2pac painted cabinetry in Haymes ‘Urban Age’, with a combination of shaker profile and ‘V grooves’ by Nova Doors. Benchtops are in Caesarstone ‘Alpine Mist’ polished finish, with a 20mm profile on L Shape, and 60mm mitred edge on island. 30mm Blackwood timber shadowline on island, and 60mm thick square legs. Blum push-to-open hardware is used throughout, with electronic ‘Servo-Drive’ touch-to-open ‘Space Corner’ drawers and bin cabinet.
