Our 4-Step Process

At Transform-A-Space, customer service is important to us. Our goal is to make the entire experience as clear and simple as possible. To this end, we have a 4-step process even before a projects starts.

1. You make an enquiry

We welcome your enquiry via phone, website, email, Houzz or social media – whatever is most convenient for you! As a first step, we like to provide you with an estimation of costings via email. Clients find it very helpful to understand an approximate cost involved for their proposed project.

In order to do this, we will request that you send through photos of the space(s) that you are wanting to update, with rough overall measurements and a summary of what you would like to have done. Once given the ‘OK’ on the estimate, we will arrange a time to visit your site.

2. We visit your site

As part of the site visit, we determine your specific functional requirements, take accurate measurements and notes of each area, and show samples for your colour and material selections. These are individually selected to suit the environment, colour scheme and space in your home. Read more about material and finishes here.

Depending on your cabinetry needs, the consultation can take anywhere from half an hour up to a couple of hours – we consider it time well spent to listen to your ideas and talk through potential solutions to ensure that you are 100% satisfied with the proposed design.

3. We prepare your quote

Following the site visit, we will be able to provide you with an accurate written quote, usually within 5 to 10 working days. Along with the quote detailing the summary of work to be completed, you will also receive an indication of current lead time and an approximate number of days required for installation.

Technical drawings of your proposed cabinetry will also be included with your quote, and where appropriate, 3D rendered images representing colour selections made.

4. We start your project

Once the project details are confirmed, we will order materials required for your project and advise a project start date. Lead time can vary from two weeks through to two or three months, depending on the size of your project and our current workload. The actual number of days for installation also varies; we have had jobs ranging from a single day, through to several weeks for large kitchens and whole house fit-outs.

We appreciate that having practical work being completed in your home can be disruptive to your day-to-day routines, so we aim to be as accommodating as possible and always leave a clean and tidy work environment at the end of each day. Upon conclusion of the installation, we will invite you to inspect your newly transformed space, and we anticipate that you will be thrilled with the finished result … our reputation and word-of-mouth referrals depend on it!
